Cue Tips from KHOA

Firmly tighten the shaft and butt together.

Your cue will be straighter,

the shaft won’t loosen during use,

and your shots will feel solid and deliver smoother power.

Use fine sandpaper (grit 2000) or worn-out sandpaper:

gently stroke along the shaft — dirt will stick to the paper.

Repeat until you're satisfied.

Do not use cold or damp cloths to wipe the shaft.

Disassemble your cue and place it in the case.

Leave the case slightly open for ventilation.

Store in a cool, dry place — avoid heat and humidity.

Use fine sandpaper (grit 1000),

and stroke along the length of the shaft.

Continue until the wood surface feels smooth.

Then wipe repeatedly with a dry cloth,

until the surface is smooth and glossy.
